Athletes Choices

The choices athletes make today that have to do with their performance could be wiser. Athletes of all ages and gender are choosing to make the bad choice of steroid abuse. Baseball is one of the most popular sports, with a large number of players who have abused steroids compared to other sports. The Olympics has also fined and taken away medals from athletes convicted of using steroids. This is a bad reputation for a famous person and also teaches kids it is ok to use steroids. The problem is increasing throughout the years, and the choices of players could and should be much wiser.

  1. I totally agree. Even though some athletes choose to use steroids, it's harmful in the long run. Not just to their health but also to their career. Is it really worth losing your job?

  2. Steroids are very harmful to your body and i believe athletes shouldn't use them. But with all the money and fame that is in baseball, juicing up could in fact increase your pay check by millions. If you have stronger, faster players, more people will want to come and watch the big strong dudes crush the ball out of the park. This also increases the money the baseball park and team makes. So if you consider the risk of getting busted, does it outweigh the fame, money, and ego that could be gained by juicing up?
